Anna Quarries, Inc., located in Anna, Illinois, is a manufacturer of crushed limestone products serving the construction and agricultural markets in southern Illinois. The quarry first began in 1855 and is one of the oldest continuous businesses in the area. Eugene T. Simonds acquired a fifty-percent interest in the quarry in 1969 with the remaining fifty-percent interest being acquired by the Simonds family in 1992.<\/span><\/p>\n
